Electronic Court Filings

Please note:  Filing by email is a courtesy service.  Read our updated directions below.  If you do not follow the directions outlined below, we will not accept your emailed filing and you will need to submit your filing via postal mail, in-person or the drop box located in front of the courthouse.  Thank you for understanding.

Filing by Email

  • The email address for filing document(s) with the 10th Circuit Court is  circuitcourtrecordsfiling@saginawcountymi.gov
    • This is the ONLY address to use when sending in a filing. Emails sent to other email addresses will not be accepted.
  • Your PDFs must be separated by document type. For example, if you have a Motion and a Notice of Hearing, you should be sending two separate PDFs. They can be sent in the same email, but must be sent as separate attachments.
  • Attach your document(s) in PDF format ONLY. Pictures or other formats of document(s) are not supported by our system and will not be accepted.
  • In the subject line of the email you must reference the case number. If filing a new case, reference “New Case” in the subject line.
  • You must indicate in the body of your email an explanation of the attachments you are sending in. We will NOT accept emails that fail to describe the purpose of the attachments.
    • Again, do not send in attachments without an explanation in the body of the email. Your filing will be rejected if you do this.
  • If a filing fee is required, a clerk will contact you for your payment information. There is a county service charge for using a credit card based on the amount of the transaction.
  • If filing a Fee Waiver Request form, please include the completed form with your filing.
  • Please ensure all document(s) are signed, dated, and notarized (if required).
  • Filings received after 5:00 pm will be considered filed the following business day.
  • We will not respond to emails notifying you that your documents have been filed. You can visit the Saginaw County Court Case Search to view your court record.
  • DO NOT SEND FILINGS VIA E-MAIL AND MAIL. THIS CREATES DUPLICATE FILINGS. We will not make the distinction between your duplicate filings.
