The Saginaw County Metropolitan Planning Commission serves as the Policy Body for transportation planning activities conducted by SMATS, the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). The SCMPC aslo serves to support and advise the planning efforts conducted by the cities, villages and townships in the county.
